Thank You!
Last weekend's national conference, Purebred Dogs: The Next Endangered Species? was a huge success, thanks not only to the excellent speakers, panelists, and attendees (see the list of conference speakers here), but to the wonderful individuals and organizations who went out of their way to help make it a success.
We literally could not have done it without the hard work and support of friends such as Cindy Miller and the Harrisburg Kennel Club, or Darin Cox and the Pennsylvania Federation of Dog Clubs. NAIA sincerely thanks you all for helping to make this such a great event!
We also thank the AKC and AKC Health Foundation for their participation, and salute CaRPOC -- not only for their generous donation toward this year's conference, but for the fact that they're already helping us organize next year's event (November 10-11, 2012, near Los Angeles, California)!
There are also a few outstanding individuals we'd like to thank for their help during the conference:
-
Dave Frei: For lending us his unmistakable voice and auctioneering abilities during Saturday night's festivities. Dave's work was brilliant!
- Patte Klecan: For emceeing conference events while helping to staff NAIA's membership and merchandise table.
- Nancy Fisk: For spearheading the auction while helping to staff NAIA's membership and merchandise table.
- Julian Prager: For his keen insights into Pennsylvania's dogs and laws, and in helping to put together an engaging and diverse panel of speakers.
Last, but certainly not least, is Susan Stekoll, who handled videography the entire weekend. Without her skill and perseverance, there'd be no DVD or video clips available of this fabulous conference.
Thank you ALL for helping NAIA put on one of its best conferences yet -- we couldn't have done it without you!
Sincerely,

Patti Strand, NAIA National Director
P.S. Video clips and the DVD of the conference will be announced upon completion. In the meanwhile, look for conference analysis and follow up questions on the NAIA Blog , which will take place over the next several days.
Join NAIA today and become a voice for animals and the people who share their lives with them!
